How easily we assume someone else will step up and feed the poor creature. And no one does.

Until Jesus' return, who will lead the lost to Christ?
Who will stand up for Biblical Truth?
Who will create unity in the fellowship of the congregation?
Who will disciple the newly converted?
Who will hearten the next generation of leaders in the church?

I want to be that person! I have to start being the Church. I cannot assume someone else will step up. What if no one does? Time is getting closer to Christ's return, and the church has much work to do. Let's start asking ourselves and each other, "What does Christ expect the church to be?" There is a void in society that only the church can fill. And believers do not live exempt from the same trials of life as nonbelievers. So the church needs to be a public service center for the neighborhood and its members. Remember that Jesus fed the multitudes and then fed them with spiritual food for the soul. Let us be his disciples by following His example.
